Today Dark Sky Films has provided us with five (5) copies of Count Dracula, which hits home video on February 27. Jess Franco's version of the Bram Stoker classic has Count Dracula as an old man who grows younger whenever he dines on the blood of young maidens. The film stars the infamous Christopher Lee, alongside Herbert Lom, Klaus Kinski, Soledad Miranda and Maria Rohm.
Directed by auteur Jess Franco (Venus in Furs, The Diabolical Dr. Z), COUNT DRACULA stars screen icon Christopher Lee (Horror of Dracula, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings) as the titular Count Dracula. Fleeing the cold confines of his Carpathian castle for the shores of England, the dark lord of vampires feeds on the blood of luscious beauties Lucy (Soledad Miranda, Vampyros Lesbos) and Mina (Maria Rohm, 99 Women) in order to grow youthful and stay alive.
