Regardless of what anyone thinks, the movie is happening. This whole Halloween debacle is similar to Daniel Craig's situation. However, in the end it made millions. Guess we'll just have to see if Halloween has the same fate...

Halloween is pretty much my favorite movie of all time. and to see it be ripped apart peice by peice is sad. i do like that zombie is stepping out of the box, but theres a limit.

i read the script review and this movie sounds awful, almost made up. my little sister could probably come up with better ideas than this.

While everyone complains about Michael talking and stuff, I think the dumbest thing I heard is that Michael lets out an entire mental facility. I guess Michael has a big ol heart!

Given Dimension's penchant for meddling with their films pre/during/post production I think it's safe to say that Zombie's vision has little chance of making it to the screen as he intends it.That's the way Dimension/Miramax works.Anybody remember Kevin Yagher's experience with them on HELLRAISER:BLOODLINE causing him to remove his name from the film?Or the tampering with HALLOWEEN 6?Those are only 2 examples of many and there wasn't even a FRACTION of the backlash for those films that the is for this.There are already reports of Zombie having to do rewrites,hence the release date/production delay.I just hope that for ONCE they listen to the fans of HALLOWEEN and not some idiot producers arbitrary whims or the Zombabies who would defend any excrement Rob feels like crapping out.Sorry Zombabies,it's probably a lose/lose scenario for you too.

you're forgetting also "Wes Craven's Cursed" which Dimension asked him to reshoot the movie a 2nd time.

THE SCRIPT THAT IS OVER ONLINE IS AN "EARLY DRAFT" OF THE FILM AND IT MAY NOT BE THE FINAL SHOOTING DRAFT OF THE FILM. Whether or whether not this is true, the film is still happening. I was disgusted with Zombie's vision and the things I read in the Halloween Script. Michael Myers speaking, running, and clobbering victims like a wrestler. What is even worse is Michael's backstory and his trashy upbringing as a child. Michael Myers is "something" you cannot explain, he is pure evil. But, giving him a backstory such as a young psycho killing animals is nothing more than just a serial killer behind a mask. He is not special anymore. After giving it much thought on Rob Zombie's take of the film it kind of grew on me and I think a 360 degree turn of the original film would be a refreshing start. Maybe we are ready to see a more verocious and disturbing Michael Myers character. Plus, the slow moving, mute and unemotional Michael Myers is kind of getting boring in the sequals. i dont know how Zombie will have Michael talk, but it would be interesting. Hate it or love it, I think Rob Zombie's Halloween is going to be great.
