Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns) is close to a deal to star in Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo’s supernatural thriller After.Life, according to Production Weekly. Vosloo, will direct from her own script which chronicles a young woman in a transitional state between life and death who fights to avoid being buried alive by the funeral director who holds her fate in his hands. Two-time Oscar nominee John Mathieson (Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven) has signed on as cinematographer, with production is scheduled to begin later this year. Vosloo wrote, directed and produced “Pâté,” which premiered at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival and won several top jury prices at festivals nationwide.
