With their horror script Gone, comic-book writer Brian Pulido and New York Times best-selling author Michael Stackpole took the grand prize at Fade In Magazine's 10th annual Fade In Awards, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The awards aim to help new writers and directors get recognized within the Hollywood film community, and the duo's screenplay, about a young couple on a weekend vacation in the desert who get marooned miles from civilization and stalked by a super-pack of vicious wolves, will be shopped to agents this month. About 1,800 entrants competed in seven categories and two formats to win.
