The other day Sci Fi Wire had posted a small news bit teasing the future horror films of big time Producer Roy Lee, one of those films was The Ring Three. We got excited about the blurb and decided to go straight to the source for more. Here's the news directly from the horses mouth... as of right now the plan is to hold the film for a few years and go into the franchise "with a new fresh story," Lee tells Bloody-Disgusting. So the good news is that one day we might see the return of Samara! The original plan was to tell the origins of Samara in a similar fashion to the Japanese film
