EXCLUSIVE
Major 'Halloween' Casting News Exclusive to B-D!

And just when you thought we were done for the week... we've just scored some exclusive casting news directly from the mouths of some of the "Rejects" from Rob Zombie's first two films! Read on to see three more names added to the laundry list of cast members in Rob Zombie's Halloween remake, which hits theaters everywhere on August 31st. From what I hear the script is f-cking unbelievable! Bring it on Rob! Halloween begins shooting later this month.

We've received word from that Lew Temple (The Devil's Rejects, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and Danny Trejo (Grindhouse, The Devil's Rejects, From Dusk Till Dawn) have also joined the cast of Rob Zombie's 'Halloween'!

Temple will play Nole Kluggs, a co-worker of Ismael at Smith's Grove and Trejo will play Ismal Cruz, a sympathetic worker at Smith's Grove Sanitarium

Earlier today William Fortsythe and Sheri Moon Zombie joined Tyler Mane (Michael Myers), Malcolm McDowell (Dr. Loomis), Daeg Faerch (young Michael Myers), Heather Bowen, Pat Skipper (Mr. Strode) and Dee Wallace Stone (Mrs. Strode).

After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, is mistakenly released from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 10 year old) and he immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister, Laurie. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.

Zombie's vision of this film is an entirely new take on the legend and will satisfy fans of the classic "Halloween" legacy while beginning a new chapter in the Michael Myers saga. "This is a bit of a prequel and a remake, combined," says Zombie.

But who will play Laurie? ... It would be just hilarious if that lady who won that walk-on role played her. As for the recent additions, I think they are great actors but who the hell will they play? Most of the film is still fairly cliche and about teenagers getting slaughtered so... Actually, now that I think about it, it would be amazing if Lew Temple played the Sheriff/dad of Laurie's (best?) friend like the original.

Rob keeps denying it, but I keep hearing it's Danielle Harris. I guess we'll know soon enough! Robalso told me Sheri Moon wasn't in the film... LAST WEEK - so who knows?

I have an idea. Why not set the movie in Haverhill instead of Haddonfield, cast the directors wife as some halfwit gogo slut puttin out marlboro's on her kid's arm, expound on some little secret Oedipul fetish harbourred by the director (I'm sorry, musician turned director) and wrap up this warm little turdling by awakening all the cliche teenangst Dawson's Creek reject revenge fantasies and then cast a bunch of C/grade character actors in your little autobiographical fantasy. The movie should never be made. Period. If you harbor any delusional hope that it's going to be anything but crap because of the uberhip so-called ultrahorrormaster filmaker then it's time to stop posting on this site and finish your middleschool social studies homework. Anyone with a working brain knows this is a joke. Good job Malek.
