Bloody-Disgusting has just learned exclusively that Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, the duo being Project Greenlight's Feast, have been tapped to write the remake of William Castle's The Tingler for Sony's Columbia Pictures. The original 1959 film starred Vincent Price as a scientist who discovers an organism that grows along a person's spine when that person enters a state of extreme fear. One way to defeat the creature is to scream. No other details were evealed, but we'll keep you posted as more details come in. Marcus and Patrick are currently working on a treatment for Saw IV for Lionsgate.
