Second Unit Director in Heavy Talks to Helm 'Saw IV'!

Today Bloody-Disgusting has learned that Saw III production designer and second unit director David Hackl is in heavy talks to direct Lionsgate's Saw IV, which is aiming at an October 26, 2007 release. Personally I love the idea of Lionsgate giving a new talent the chance to make his mark, especially since he's worked so close to Darren Lynn Bousman on both Saw sequels. We checked in with Bousman who had this to say, "I fully support the idea of David Hackl directing the next 'Saw' film..." Just to be clear, David is not signed on yet but we wish him the best of luck! More details when they come in.

Saw is a 7 part movie. There is 7 jigsaw pieces in the movies and in the 7th movie you will see who is the master mind behind the killings. I found 3 so far so that means 4 to go. The only reason I know this is because I have a "friend" that works at twisted pictures. You have not seen anything yet. Remember not every villian dies but which one did not die? Ha Ha Ha thats all I can say if ya want more info just leave a message and I will try to help ya out.

david hackl is supposed to direct saw IV.....all depends on the actor's strike in canada however. f.y.i - part of saw IV was shot during the making of saw III.......I was there.

i watched all the saw movies 1 after another. they're crazy. it left me in suspense for the next 1. and whatever happened to dr. gordan. did he survive, did he die?

what i wonder, is will any of these 7 movies be prequils like things that happened befor the first saw, and is Eric Mathews really dead?

Tyzer

There is not going to be a prequil the prequil has been made when saw 2 came out its "saw rebirth" the comic that came with the saw 2 dvd

Deteective Matthews is not dead, and is probably the NEW jigsaw. Detective Matthews escaped and was left for dead, but if you listen to Jigsaw talking to Amanda he tells her he is always having to clean up her mess. He also says he is no murderer and that he despises murderes.Like Amanda, Detective Matthews passed his test and was recruited by Jigsaw to take his place. While Amanda was weak and had many mental issues, Detective Matthews was focused and already had shown he would do whatever it took to deal his own brand of justice.

movie mistake in saw 1 you see gordon crawl to the right... in saw 3 in numerous scenes you see a wall where there should be a hall way. gordon crawled into a wall?

Saw is the best horror story line i have ever seen in a movie

Ya'll Havent Mentioned the little fact of Jigsaw himself as he lay on his bed on part 3, poured the wax from a candle over another little cassete tape, and theres really no telling who the next jigsaw will be cause honestly dr.gordon, and detective mathews pretty much lost a foot each in this ordeal and im sure they dont want nothing more to do with it, maybe there was a person that slipped through that will be the next jigsaw and personally rob zombie? awesome music no doubt hands down but come on house of a thousand corpses sucked the big one, but thats just my opinion. so we just gotta wait

Probably the test that jigsaw gave to jeff is to take his job as jigsaw and then he will find the key wich leads to her daughter?

I've been reading a lot of comments and I agree with a lot of people. I think that Dr. Gordon (from Saw I) and Detective Matthews (Saw II and III) are still alive...possibly. I do think Amanda is dead though. But, if Jigsaw AND Amanda are both truly dead, then no one is under the control of Jigsaw and Amanda. They can just end all of the madness. Too hard to tell, this movie is so twisted. BUT, here's what I want to know... At the beginning of Saw 3 we see Detective Matthews breaking his foot and getting out of the "bathroom"... and then at some point he runs into Amanda, and she injurs him but doesn't kill him. Ok, well as of that point Amanda has short hair, and in Saw 3 she has long hair. So...why did Amanda and Jigsaw wait so freakin long before choosing more victims? It's like they went a year without doing anything and if so....that means that Detective Matthews was a missing person for probably over a year before that woman gets killed by Amanda and the angel trap thing. So...Detective Matthews is either dead, or he IS a part of Jigsaw's traps. REPLY PLEASE

saw 1 was good, saw 2 was even better, and i wasnt as interested in saw 3 as i was 2 so lets hope 4 is extrodanary!! well i do wonder, what ever happened to Dr. Gordan, is he going to be the next jigsaw? well we do kno that the guy tht killed the original jigsaw has obviously got to find his daughter and get her out of where she is , am i right? there's too many questions, it's hard of where to start out...idk. saw 3 was kinda interesting,BUT... the thing is that it wasn't as scary, it wasn't really scary at all, well not to me neways! ok, well, i guess ''scary'' isn't the point. the point is to figure out the jigsaw pieces and the characters/killers! am i right there too? these movies r definately twisted (i agree w/ u jessica). too twisted, too confusing, and way too many questions! well i guess we'll all just have to wait, watch it very carefully, and find out..eventually! byez!

well i loved SAW 1, SAw 2, and SAW 3, i just hope SAW 4 will be as good or even better, we dont need pointless storylines for this one, just details and some cool new killings.
