Even though I can't confirm it, I just received a scoop regarding Dimension Films' Scary Movie 5 via e-mail that was too cool to pass up posting on. One thing that I do know for certain is that half of the scoop I was already aware of, so there might be some truth to it after all. Last year we posted a scoop regarding Scary Movie 4 (Dr. Phil chained to a wall with Shaq), which ended up being 100% true, so maybe it'll happen again? Read on for the skinny and remember this is strictly rumor until confirmed.
'California Pizza Kitchen Cook' writes it:
"Donna Harrison, who you may know from Dr. Phil, literally bumped into me in the change rooms at Macy's at South Coast Plaza this past week. I saw her again on the seats outside the change rooms and introduced myself. In short, she said she's been asked to do a cameo in SCARY MOVIE 5 (I wonder who got her that job!?). She'll be in a scene with Regina King (Friday, Ray, Ant Bully) and get this... Dan Aykroyd!"
I was able to confirm that Donna Harrison does in fact have a role in the film, but haven't been able to contact King or Aykroyd's people because of the holidays.
Anna Faris, Regina Hall and Leslie Nielsen are all rumored to be returning in David Zucker's next film, which hits theaters sometime in 2008.
