Today we've posted our weekly 'Horror in Youre House' DVD release list, which is for new films hitting retailers tomorrow, December 26th. The last release list of 2006 is a great one as a bunch of great films are coming to a store near you. Inside you'll find the full list along with Tex's pick of the week! See you in 2007 punks.

Horror in Your House—December 26, 2006
By: Tex Massacre

ANGST (special edition): Redrum/MTI

ANGST tells the tale of Helen, a young woman who devours every man she has sex with. Trouble is that Helen doesn’t want to kill them but it appears that a certain body part has a mind of its own. Burdened with this insatiable weapon of destruction she find herself turning to the streets in order to satisfy its demands, but things get even more complicated when she eventually falls in love.

German Director Wolfgang Büld 2003 thriller, originally titled, Penetration Angst is sure to have men crossing their legs as they grab for the remote….what else cay you say about a woman who’s voracious vagina literally eats men alive!!!

Aztec Mummy Collection (La Momia Azteca, La Maldicion de la Momia, and La Momia Azteca Contra el Roboto Humano): BCI Eclipse

The AZTEC MUMMY COLLECTION presents a trio of vintage and campy Mexican horror films. In ATTACK OF THE AZTEC MUMMY (1957), a scientist awakens an ancient mummy in an Aztec tomb. In CURSE OF THE AZTEC MUMMY (957), an evil villain attempts to elude a mummy guarding a wealth of Aztec treasure. And, in THE ROBOT VS THE AZTEC MUMMY (1958), the villain returns to the scene of the crime with the help of a Frankenstein-esque robot.

3 films on 3 discs of classic mexisploitation trash…Ay! Caramba.

Danika (special edition): First Look

Danika Merrick—a young mother of three—has a caring husband, a beautiful house, and a safe, simple life. She does her best to shield her family from a world filled with fears. But despite all of her good intentions, Danika’s worries over everyday dangers begin to manifest themselves into strange delusions of horrific proportions. With the belief that she is going insane, Danika seeks psychiatric help. …But what happens when her gruesome hallucinations start becoming a reality?

Marissa Tomei starts in this DVD that features Director and Composer Commentary Track, Making-Of Featurette and Story Board Art

Dark Remains (special edition): Monarch

Following their daughter's brutal murder, a grieving young couple escapes the city to find solace in the mountains. As they try to recover, they soon discover their new home is haunted by violent entities with tragic histories of their own.

Independent film director Brian Avenet-Bradley (GHOST OF THE NEEDLE) brings his film festival award winner to DVD this week packed with commentaries, and a three-part making of documentary and a look at one of the film’s creepy locales.

The Descent (Unrated Widescreen & Fullscreen, R-rated Fullscreen special editions, Blu-ray): Lionsgate

On an annual extreme outdoor adventure, six women meet in a remote part of the Appalachians to explore a cave hidden deep in the woods. Far below the surface of the earth, disaster strikes when a rock fall blocks their exit and there's no way out. The women push on, praying for another exit, but there is something else lurking under the earth. The friends are now prey, forced to unleash their most primal instincts in an all-out war against an unspeakable horror - one that attacks without warning, again and again and again.

The must see scary film of the year gets a royal DVD release featuring commentary by director Neil Marshall and the cast and crew, behind the scenes, an interview with Director Neil Marshall, deleted and extended scenes, outtakes, Stills gallery, cast and crew biographies and THE ORIGINAL ENDING!!!

Scratch: Genius Entertainment/Silver Nitrate Entertainement

A couple must race against time to track down the demented scientist behind a dangerous rodent mutation when deadly, terrifying rat attacks suddenly go through the roof.

German import from director Jörg Lühdorff is a sequel to his 2001 made-for-TV opus, REVENGE OF THE RATS. Same cast, same villains…same conclusion?

Sheitan (special edition): Tartan (TEX’S PICK OF THE WEEK)

On Christmas Eve, a group of young guys meet two gorgeous girls who invite them to spend the weekend in the country, where they meet Joseph (Vincent Cassel, Irreversible), a creepy, unkempt man whose pregnant wife remains hidden in the large house. That evening, what begins innocently as Christmas dinner turns into disturbing conversations about sex, satanic possession, and incest. Joseph’s behavior becomes increasingly erratic and the young friends realize their host has made a pact with the devil and all hell is about to break loose.

Usurping this week’s release of THE DESCENT (which you’ve all seen anyway) I dare you to spend your holidays with the freakiest Frenchman since HAUTE TENSION. My new pick for the most fucked up holiday film of all time. Check out the trailer below:
