Let's hope this is the last one in the series. The whole franchise is balls on a stick. If they had stuck strictly to the games, it could have been one of the best zombie franchises in history, but no, they opted to sell out and fuck it all up. Oh well, what else is new.

i have liked the resient evil film loved the secind one but they have sold out and in this one i hate how ashati is in this was nurse when the nurse is ment to be white anyway hopefully it aint because resident evil films are my gulity peasure

The first one is a very well-done horror film.The 2nd RE is somthing I would never whipe my ass with.Horrible. At least they hired a good director in Russell Mulcahy this time. If this "extinction"does well,there will be RE's 4,5,6,and 7 in no rime.

Anything with Milla J. is a hit, she is to damn sexy!! I mean look at that outfit!! whooohooo!! As for the Resident Evil films, they were made pretty good, I enjoyed them, and hope the 3rd will be good as well.

The RE movies suck balls. Anything with Milla J. SUCKS HUGE ASS! Just look at her movies. They all suck, she plays the same damn character in all of them and I'm sorry but she is not fit to be an action star. It's totally unrealistic when she figths and as hard as she tries it still sucks. I hope that someone else starts the RE movies all over and does it right. Stick to the games and don't add some damn super hero as the main character, it takes all of the fun, suspense and horror from the movies

lets face it....we should of all known res evil 1 was going to suck soon as romero was taken off from it...and his screenplay was just brillent. had people from the game it had...um how do you call it? A GOOD STORY!!!.... its just sad as fuck they had to bring in paul WS anderson...i dont give a shit...i bet a 1,000 bucks and my dvd collection that if they brought in uwe boll it wouldnt of been as bad as it turned out to be....only decent fucking thing about any of them is the score for part one....other then that.... puuuure shit to the point that a troma film from thier shit shelf would be a oscer winner compared to any of theses trash heeps

I think it would be a better idea to leave it at three that making us wait for a fourth one to bring closure to everything. I would sorta be supportive, but then again, they're doing Saw IV, even though the ending of Saw III pretty much ended the whole franchise. And with that being said, some people dont realize that you don't have to be ultra-faithful to the game to make it a great movie. What about people who didn't play the game. I'm sure it would be no better than W.S.' version.

I just hope a 4th movie isn't made. This is the worst successful franchise I've seen. I've yet to see a good video game movie adaptation, I really thought Resident Evil would have it easy but these movies have sure proved that wrong. The action is so terrible in them. Specifically Milla J. I'm sorry to be trash talking on her but it's the truth. All of her action is so fake. You can get a headache from watching all of the cuts they do when she fights. You never actually se the whole fight instead it's a series of "half kick" cut, "Punch" cut. Terrible editing.

I don't see how the "new" synopsis is any different from the one we have been seeing since Resident Evil Extinction was publicized. I also don't see how it "squashed" any ideas for a fourth film. Granted, it states that Alice needs to protect and serve and save all life, et cetera et cetera...but that isn't any different from 1 or 2...she had to save everyone then too. Is Jill in this one? Wiki says she is...i dunno

Resident evil 1 was the best! End of story, the 2nd one was good but lacked as much suspense and scariness of the first althought they did have LJ who was like the best dude in it. But extinction better be good and i have a feeling that its gonna suck. Takes place in the middle of no where? Oh yah thats gonna be real kool! You can kill zombies from a mile away, and they shoulda put Leon in it!

Hey slap dicks, If you stuck close to the game then what's the point in seeing the movie when already know the outcome? And when they do stick close to the game story you numb nuts complain about the action. Get over it Romero fan boys if they didn't like the story they didn't like the story he had.

Hell I would still watch the movie if it stuck to to the game. That's just pure ignorance saying no one would watch the movie just beacuase it was gonna be loyal to the game. There are many things in the movie that you would see that didn't happen in the game. The cut scenes in the game aren't gonna be enough to carry an entire movie. Duh! Oh hell no! If they dare put Leon in one of these gay movies I will bust some caps. Leon is the beast character in the entire resident evil franchise up to date at least. I just hope Milla's character dies in this movie. If she does then I'm so paying the price of admission just to see the true horror end. Her terrible acting and cliched character that she's f'king played a thousand times. By the way Romero sucks ass. His first 3 movies were great but his latest suck badly. Come on, zombies with feelings? What kind of idiots buy that.

RESIDENT EVIL movies suck HUGE ass. It's not an opinion it's a fact. They are dogshit. And as a member of the human race I think it is our responsibility to clean dogshit from our peoples minds. I'd make a RE movie but I don't have the funds to do so. Maybe if someone sponsors me? Naah, the games tell the story best. You can't make the best better, if you could, it wouldn't be the best.

I think the first film rocked. And then when I saw the second film I thought it had to much action and less horror. I mean Resident Evil is supposed to have blood crazy zombies not fighting Umbrella. I hope the third one is better than the second one.

I love the way Paul Anderson and the crew on the first film made Resident Evil a kick ass movie, but in the second film they brought in new people that made the film an action movie, come on RESIDENT EVIL is sopposed to be a HORROR movie. I just hope RESIDENT EVIL EXTINCTION has lots more bloody zombies.

I can't believe Resident Evil three is going to have Ashanti,no offense or anything , But come on can't they get somebody better. They better make this movie better than the last one that was so boring. Come on can't they make the films more like the games, with more zombies and some of the old characters. They have Claire, but not leon what kind of bull is that. Hope they saved the best for last.

i've played 3 of the res games but i loved the films if they had stuck to the game fully it would of ended up been like house of the dead,A LOAD OF SHIT! the only thing i didnt like bout the first 1 woz the fact that they went straight into the hive they should of stuck a bit more to the game in that 1. i cant wait for the 3rd film i just hope it is worth the wait!

How dare you compare House of the Dead to anything. That's just pure ignorance. House of the Dead was dog shit. That's right, it didn't even stick to the game. There are so many things wrong with what you just said it's insane. House of the Dead turned out to be crap because it was Directed by an evil man who makes crap. He is a productive member of crap. He turns beautiful things into crap. Resident Evil movies are bad but not that bad. Nevertheless Milla J. ruined these films and they suck ass.

i really hope this resident evil is better than all the rest RE2 was just shitty action and RE1 was scary. I want them to put both together and make something good. if they stuck to the video games it would be better. They should put leon or ada or someone like that in it then it would be cool. They did put wesker in it though so it should be good.

Well, this could turn out to be a good movie, you never know. But I don't see any RE in it. It looks more like "Waterworld" with zombies... In a Wild West setting. I mean, why not, I'll go see it. It has action, more gore, zombies, and Milla wielding kukris - definitely not Oscar material, but it'll be fun at least. I just don't see any RE theme in it enough to justify the title. The franchise usually featured a simple survival horror with a VERY complex back story involving a massive corporate conspiracy and detailed characters with intertwined backgrounds. And the first movie was pretty close to that theme. I'd rather watch this movie if it had no connection to RE whatsoever (it's not like the RE fans are going to watch it, seeing how they're disappointed with the previous movie), and I feel like iconic characters like Claire are just in the way. I mean, you've got a superhuman knife-spinning woman, a deadly nurse called Betty and a Latino ex-soldier - sounds like the usual Wild West outlaw gang to me, only the Indians are replaced by zombies here (whose bright idea was to put zombies in the desert, anyway?!) All I can say is, I'm looking forward to this title, because I'm sure it'll be a decent action film with a splash of gore, zombies and horror. What I don't expect is an intricate conspiracy plot. Who knows, it might surprise me in the end! (Hey, they put Wesker in, at least) P.S. I'm so glad that they didn't put Leon in RE:E. I'm just playing RE:4 which is great but has a cheesy euro-gothic horror tone, (with castles and villages and lakes) and Leon is SO out of place there. Actually, I think he's out of place in any non-urban setting, including this movie's desert.

ok the first resident evil movie was good but not as resident evil though, i loved it a lot but i wanted to see chris, and jill, and barry, and wesker, the second was good also but now i think they never should've put jill in it now since she will not be returning, they should've made sienna sign a contract stating that she will be in both i mean she was the first really big character to show up on any of the movies, but no she had to go and make a shitty movie called eragon which she was only in for about ten min. at least claire will be in the third one and she is being played by ali larter too so it should all be good except i hope that ashanti dies
