Nala Films has given life to Open Grave, launching development of Eddie and Chris Borey's thriller with a planned start date of mid-2007, according to Variety. Nala Investments will finance the project with chairman-CEO Emilio Diez Barroso and Nala Films prexy Darlene Caamano Loquet producing alongside Jonathan Shestack and Jeremy Stein of Jonathan Shestack Prods. The story centers on a man who wakes up in a remote wilderness with no memory in a pit full of dead bodies and must determine if the murderer is one of the strangers who rescued him, or if he himself is the killer.
