One of the mist intriguing scripts I've read this year was Amusement, which was written by Jake Wade Wall. The film, which tells three different tales of horror, is set up over at New Line's sister company Picturehouse. Today the first official casting news came in on the movie and can be found inside. Watch for a possible script review in the coming months.
Keir O'Donnell (Noise), Katheryn Winnick (Tranced, Hellraiser: Hellworld, Satan's Little Helper), Laura Breckenridge (Havoc), Jessica Lucas (The Covenant) and Tad Hilgenbrinck are set to star in the Picturehouse horror film "Amusement," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Winnick, Breckenridge and Lucas will play a group of friends stalked by a serial killer who knows them from their childhood. O'Donnell and Hilgenbrinck will play boyfriends who become entangled in the deadly situation.
John Simpson's feature begins production this week in Budapest, Hungary, from a screenplay by Jake Wade Wall. The film is produced by Neal Edelstein and Mike Macari through Macari/Edelstein Prods.
O'Donnell is represented by UTA and Visionary Entertainment. Winnick is repped by UTA and Schumacher Management. Breckenridge and Lucas are repped by Gersh, and Hilgenbrinck is repped by Innovative Artists.
