Get your date books out and start saving your pennies because 2007 is quickly loading up with tons of great DVD releases. I'm shocked to report that Wes Craven's The Breed is going direct-to-video, although it has been collecting dust for over a year now. Inside you'll find new release dates for three titles coming to DVD in 2007, dig it.

Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror, which recently played theaters as part of the After Dark Horrorfest, hits DVD on March 6 from Xenon Pictures and Vivendi Visual Entertainment, according to Fangoria. The film follows three terrifying inner-city tales of people whose actions in this life determine their fate in the next.

They also report that the second movie in Warner Home Video’s Raw Feed series, Tony Krantz’s hospital-horror opus Sublime, streets March 20-- although our contacts report that this date has not been confirmed. The story: Admitted to a hospital for a routine, minimally invasive procedure, George Grieves (Cavanagh) discovers that his circumstances are much more serious and complicated than originally expected. Trapped in the increasingly bizarre and dangerous world of the eerie hospital, George tries to maintain his sanity while uncovering the truth behind the growing number of medical misdeeds happening within the institution’s East Ward. As his own fears begin to manifest all around him, he learns that this is not a hospital where people come to get better… this is a hospital where people come to die.

Lastly, First Look Home Entertainment will unleash the Wes Craven produced killer-dog chiller The Breed May 22, though they report that this one will likely have limited theatrical release first. The film tells of two brothers, one a highly athletic daredevil and the other a much more serious and sensitive type, who in the midst of trying to patch up their wonky relationship - on a getaway at their Uncle's house - are forced to flee a pack of vicious killer dogs - the titular 'Breed'.
