Today we've been supplied with an exclusive first ever look at the brand spanking new one sheet for Anchor Bay's upcoming critically acclaimed Behind the Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon (review), which hits theaters on January 5, 2007. Although the movie isn't in theaters yet, B-D writer Tim Anderson saw the film at SXSW and dubbed it his #1 movie of the year! Directed by Scott Glosserman, the film stars Nathan Baesel, Robert Englund, Matt Bolt, Jenafer Brown, Krissy Carlson, Scott Wilson, Zelda Rubenstein, Angela Goethals and Kane Hodder! The next great psycho horror slasher has given a documentary crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo, all the while deconstructing the conventions and archetypes of the horror genre for them. Doctor Satan 3:44am, December 25, 2006 I saw this movie at the international film festival and it was amazing. yes, it is a comedy and yes it does get serious, but it was done perfectly. The screenplay is really, really good. I can't wait to see it again. Everyone in the theatre seemed to enjoy it. Go check this one out in theatres. You won't be dissapointed.
