Disturbing Five-Minute Clip From 'Pan's Labyrinth'!

Today we've posted our second exclusive clip from Picturehouse's Pan's Labyrinth, which hits UK cinemas today and US theaters on December 29. I personally think the film is an Oscar shoe-in for "Best Foreign Film." Read on for a look at an amazing five-minute clip that'll have you begging to see the movie (if the first clip didn't already do it). In this fairy tale, a small family in Spain moves into an old house in 1943 after the rise of Fascism. Their eldest daughter, at age 12, falls in love with a fawn that lives in the old ruined labyrinth which resides behind their new decrepit home.

H.P. Lovecraft all the way!!! This a really creepy film, not for kids, not for the faint of heart and so far is the best film of 2006, It really deserved to win the oscar. America mark your calendars, december 29!

Is not silly, is simbolic, but i guess you haven't seen the film. The film deals with so many diferent emotions, as a complex fantasy that uses violence as the most convenient for human power relationships and as poetry. The fantasy images are closer to the darker work of HP Lovecraft and Hammer Films then to Tolkien, but with Del Toro originality, still the best film of 2006.

This is a GREAT movie that will surely get an R rating in the USA. Definitely not something you'd see come out of Hollywood. Much of it plays like a child's fairy tale but the movie definitely ISN'T for children. Great friggin movie. Excellent teaser clips on this page.

A truly amazing film, beautiful, shocking and ultimately heartbreaking, easily the best picture I've seen this year. This is what happens when a director is given free reign and not weight down by hollywood bs.
