Yeah...I totally agree with Bert. Sure its a remake of a classic, but it still looks really fun and gory!

I've seen it... was released here in Ireland last friday Dec 15th and I thought it was excellent....I'm an uber fan of the original and I felt this rendition was unique enough to stand alone and seperate it from the 74 classic but still retain that creepy atmosphere which was at the foundation of the original. Similar storyline and set-up but there's enough gruesome twists and turns along the way with some very disturbing images to keep any level of Black Christmas fan interested throughout. As a bonus I found that keeping the killer in the shadows then showing IT in the finale this time around worked surprisingly well as this is the creepiest cinema psychopath in a long time...when you see it you'll understand what I mean when I say IT's a hybrid of Michael Myers/Mrs.Bates......
