Theres a few fan mades floating around you tube so its hard to tell..I guess I'd be okay with it if that was the first teaser. Shit it could start with a pov shot of someone walking up to the myers house and end with them walking in and the door slamming and I'd be okay with it. I just wish we had confirmation.

I'd put my hand to fire it's a fake. The MPAA screen at the beginning don't look like that one these days, the fonts and text effects are so generic they probably come straight from a preset in a video editing suite... NEXT !

It's fake, but well put together. Totally NOT Zombie's style, though! And the title was a picture from the original poster - they wouldn't use the same font these days, <i>and</i> the mask hasn't even been made yet. Weinstein's always release the Halloween trailers only a couple of months or so before the films releases, so expect the first one to pop up in April at the earliest!

The MPAA screen is NOT current. I just saw a brand new trailer ahead of Casino Royale, and they are now the "Motion Picture Assocication of America, Inc." Any new trailer would include the "Inc." part, this one does not. It is a fake. Also, if it were real, you wouldn't see it on YouTube first - it'd be at Apple.com or Yahoo! Movies first. -NJM

Rob Zombie would make something a whole lot scarier for his Halloween movie trailer, and if he did make this, I'll be very disappointed.

I really like Bloody-Disgusting but I don't why they dig and promote the dumbest crap. This trailer is terrible. Whoever at BD decided that this was so great needs to go watch the original Halloween and then go find a date.

shows how easy it is to make a teaser..... Truthfully this teaser isn't even that good, it really didn't have the that WOW feel to it. The most wowest was the words halloween and rob zombie, yea thats kind of how it should be but still could have had more WOW for me, it feels like its missing something that would make it feel right BOTTOM LINE DEFINETLY NOT REAL.

I loved the trailer. Apparently some people haven't read the book by Curtis Richards. Zombie has said the movie will have more of a back story which the book has. Beware the curse of Thorn!! I think Zombie will do a good job.

well i would say if rob zombie would kinda make the trailer good it might be good but the trailer isnt good so how well i know if it is good or not but all i know is that rob zombies films are good but they have more nudity then scary things but i have seen all of his shows cause i like scary show and ive been watching then sence i was like 6 so i know if it is a good thriller or not.

I don't know. I saw the Halloween ramake trailer when i saw Grindhouse and a lot of people laughed and sneered at it. I remember a guy yelled out loud and said "what's this Halloween Part 55". It's still to early to release a remake.
