Not everything in this weekend's After Dark Horrorfest is completely terrible (check out Mike Mendez's 'The Gravedancers'), something you might want to check out is the Spanish horror film The Abandoned (review), which is a film many of you have been dying to see. Today I am extremely excited to bring you an exclusive one-on-one interview with Director Nacho Cerda and co-writer Karim Hussain, courtesy of our main man in Canada, Solarburnite. In the film an American film producer named Marie returns to her homeland, Russia, where her mother’s dead body has been found under bizarre circumstances. She never knew her, having been adopted and brought to America as a baby. The only clue to what might have happened is an isolated, abandoned farm in the mountains that supposedly belonged to her natural parents.
