Here's the shortest news we've ever reported... In a deal worth high-six against seven figures, Universal Pictures has preemptively acquired an untitled pitch by screenwriters Brandon Camp and Mike Thompson ("Dragonfly"), according to Variety. A supernatural thriller about a woman who moves to a small town and has to deal with her past, the film will be produced by Scott Stuber and Mary Parent through their U-based Stuber/Parent banner. Camp and Thompson will exec produce. No other info was revealed.
