Eduardo Rodriguez (Curandero) has been tapped to direct a US remake of the Franch horror film Fissures (Listen to Time), based on a script by Greg Tak, according to Fangoria. Joe Dante, along with producing partner Elizabeth Stanley, will produce the film that made its world premiere at Los Angeles’ AFI over the weekend. We checked in on the story and discovered that at this time it's in a very early stage of development and no script exists yet. The film tells the tale of a young woman who uses her talents in motion picture sound recording to solve the mysterious murder of her mother.
