the news is going to be short and sweet the remainder of this week as I'm out of the country and have limited Internet access. Focus' genre label Rogue has made a two-picture deal with hot horror scribe Scott Milam. First up is an untitled carnival project described as an intense horror film involving sideshow freaks and other carnival horrors, according to Variety. Veteran horror producer Michael Zoumas is attached to produce. Zoumas is already producing Rogue's "Blood on the Tracks." Second project was a blind script deal. Milam earlier made a deal with Dimension for "Wichita," with "Saw II" and "Saw III" helmer Darren Bousman attached to direct. Like other genre labels, Rogue has been in overdrive of late; company has signed high-profile deals with the likes of Wes Craven and James Cameron.
