Today we added five new reviews, most of them from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Now that we've entered the month of October and Halloween is less than a month away, don't you think it's time you started getting your non-horror friends to watch some films with you? Hopefully you'll find something worth checking out inside, and if not, at least you'll know what NOT to watch.
Voodoo Moon: Tex Massacre writes, Voodoo Moon is hardly the worst example of a cast overrunning a film. But for genre fans the idea of a half-hearted version of horrors own Dirty Dozen stock piled with the likes of Jeffrey Combs and Charisma Carpenter is hard to pass up.
Mortuary: Room 237 writes, OK, well. I feel bad that I wasted about two hours of my time watching this film, and feel even worse to be wasting your time, dear reader - who have actually gotten this far in my review.
After Sundown: Tex Massacre writes, As far as the look and feel of the film goes, again, it seems that the real waste was in not focusing the entire film as a western. All the credibility garnered by the skillful execution of the flashback scenes is utterly squandered in the murky mess that makes up better than ¾ of the finished product.
Deathwatch: Ryan Daley writes, Ultimately, thankfully, Deathwatch fulfils its early promise as a moody, high-quality horror film that should not be missed by fans of the genre.
Machined: Tex Massacre writes, It’s been a while since I needed to shower after watching a film that didn’t star Jenna Jameson, but McMahon’s Machined is as greasy and nasty a ride as they come.
