Here's some some Butter for your breakfast muffin - it has already been confirmed that John McNaughton is pretty much on board as director of New Line Cinema's A Nightmare on Elm Street Prequel, and with the new Chainsaw prequel hitting theaters next Friday I can see why talks might be zooming forward. Inside you'll find a little tid-bit from a loyal B-D reader, which just might get your morning going without coffee (you addict you).
According to B-D reader 'Crime Doctor' Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund and Director Wes Craven were spotted at the Coffee Bean on Beverly and Robertson lunching yesterday (yep, right next to the New Line building!).
Our reader got an autograph from Mr Craven and asked "when you are guys working together?" To which they both replied, "very soon - you're going to love it." Englund added, devlishly laughing, "LOVE it!."
I'm excited... are you?
