'Freddy vs Jason vs Ash' Talk Surfacing Again

Sam Raimi pretty much put the nail in the coffin when he announced his own The Evil Dead remake, which Ghost House Pictures would produce- but is it possible that we might see Ash once again in Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, which was once almost a "go" over at New Line Cinema? You can still read the astounding treatment exclusively at Bloody-Disgustig by clicking here. Read on for a little tid-bit to get your hopes up. We're checking into the story to see if there's any truth.

Comingsoon asked director Ronny Yu, "Any chance you might direct a sequel to "Freddy vs. Jason" if New Line decides to do one?

Yu responded, "Yeah, they've been talking about it, and they even talk about bringing Ash [from Sam Raimi's "Evil Dead" movies] into the equation, and I thought it's terrific. It's almost like an updated version of "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly." If they really want to do it and they want me to do it, I'd love to do it. It would be a lot of fun."

I don't see any reason why this can't happen. If Raimi and co. shy away from using Ash in the 'Evil Dead' remake like they've claimed they would, then couldn't Ash still kick some ass over at New Line? We hope so...

DO NOT USE ASH!!!! Michael Myers should be in Freddy V Jason 2!!!!!!! All three are quality serial killers!!! It would be amazing to see the 3 of them in the same film

Ash would fit in perfect michael myers i cant see joining the picture because two silent killers and freddy being the only one with the punch lines will get boring. Ash on the other hand can bring in a new feel and cause alot of problems the book of the dead fits in perfectly wit the series because frankly of jason goes to hell. Ash using the book could find a passage to seal off the evil and totally mess it up while bringing freddy jason and the deadites back. It all fits in im just saying using michael myers would make the film boring only way i can see that it wouldnt be bring back jamie lee curtis as lori but that isnt gonna happen.

Well... I don't see why Ash wouldn't fit in. At least it would be a little more active, as well as his other half/alternate persona. Therefore, it would actually be kind of a four way battle between them. But, truth be told; Kane Hodder should definately get the Jason role. He loved that role, even so much as to get a 'Kill' tattoo on his lower inside lip. Frankly, Ken just wasn't up to the standard of Jason. Kane had already spent 4 previous movies coming up with ways Jason would do things. Even going so far as to tell the director/writers how Jason would or wouldn't kill someone. How can you not have a guy with that much passion for a character... play it? You basically destroyed the character. The outfit sucked ass, his build was way off. Hell, he was too CLEAN! The only good kill scene he had was smashing the guy in bed. Now, as for Michael Myers. I'm not sure he would work for this. Mainly because Myers was meant to kill his entire family. Which, he is still yet to do; meaning Lori Strode's son from H20. You'd have to make him kin to Jason or Freddy some how. That or just put in some random dumbass and say he's family. And for the record, Kane's gotta be one bad ass Juggalo. Supportin' the hatchet!

i have been a jason freak since i can remember i love all the movies from the friday the 13th series have them on dvd and still watch them till this very day but bringing in myers would make newline hit rock bottom i mean dont get me wrong i liked the holloween movies but jason was around alot longer then myers and jason had his own way of killing and myers took it and fucked it up jason is the man and the number won thing newline sould consider is Kane hooder he is the only man worthy of being jason he had his own style with jason and this ken guy not even worthy of wearing the mask the wrong build jason was a tank what happen to him he get aids or something if u leave out kane this movie isnt even worth seeing

No micheal myers dude, they are all of the same caliber serial killers, I mean, they wouldn't be working against each other since they have the same goal, KILL!!!!!!! Now with Ash (Bruce Campbell vs. the REAL EVIL DEAD (Jason and Freddy)) they would have a real challenge, certainly when EVIL ASH is involved :D as we saw in EVIL DEAD II and Army of Darkness. Like I said before, these assholes need the necronomicon to survive as evil dead. with ASH in there, with his chainsaw and boomstick it the movie would defnately kick ass!!!!

See I agree with most of everyone on here! Ash isnt a good idea because hes a good guy and not everyone loved those movies. Tons of people havent even seen them or know who he is even. He is too old and like freddy in freddy vs. jason... they forgot. Now if they brought chucky into the equation, then that would be funny and kick ass. Freddies line could be " I dont play with dolls Bitch!" Maybe they could bring Pinhead into the equation as well. A girl finds the cube and opens up the portal to hell unleashing Pinhead but what he didnt realize was that he wasnt the only one who got out. Making it a killer fest. Not only does the girl and her friends have to survive the grip of these killers but each killer clashes and pinhead has to stop all of them and put them back where they belong.... in hell. Now that would be cool!

READ THIS AND REALLY THINK ABOUT IT. This is what I think! So far, all of these are good ideas. If Ash was involved he could have alot more to do with the story as well as make it more interesting and possibly put a stop to freddy and jason. Although it does seem like something that would make a part 3. For those who are to dumb and retarded to know what kind of a kick ass character ASH is...kiss my boom dick lol. Now on the other hand, Mike myers popping into the picture kind of sounds tight considering it would have to take place on Holloween and maybe in micheals town . As for the pinhead thing that seems like something that would be in a part 3 aswell cuz if they were to end the series it would be to stop everything at once, and who better to help put them back in hell than hell raiser himself. Chucky however wouldnt stand a chance fighting any villian but would be a funny comic relief for the movie. All in all without another villian entering the picture aswell as another hero, I see no reason for freddy to even try and fight jason again.r Maybe they could add 2 more people to make it even and then two end up working together to try to see who are the true ultimate killers but ultimatly end up loosing. Another rumer was CANDYMAn might enter the equation which would'nt be bad either since candyman can dwell in both worlds(dream and real world. Honestly the only way I can see freddy and jason being in the same picture again is either going against Ash or freddy bringing bak mike myers to try to kill jason or some scenerio.

Now that I think about it though if Ash were to come into the picture, they probably wouldnt do a freddy vs jason vs ash untill they did the evil dead 4 movie with Ash so more people could be familar with him before they did it. Cuz im going to be honest with you I didnt know who Ash or Evil dead was untill I saw it about two years ago, but after I saw it I fell inlove with evil dead bruce campbell and director Sam Riami. I beive the Evil dead series are classics just as freddy jason mike and chucky and it is a must see for all horror fans. After you see the movies especially evi dead 2, you will change you minds about him not being in it. Alot of the new generation has no appreciation for classics and movies as a whole.

If you were to do another one It would make sense for Freddy not to fight Jason, as he already knows Jason would mop the floor w/ him.Now I'm not saying freddy shouldn't be in it but I don't think Freddy would fight anymore it would make sense to see,Freddy get another bad guy to destroy Jason and send him back to hell.It could be cool to see Freddy call on pinhead to bring Jason back to hell,or Ash to Stop him,or even Michael Myers.Call it Jason vs. Pinhead
