It was revealed a few weeks back that both Michael Bailey Smith and Derek Mears will star in Fox Atomic's The Hills Have Eyes II, the sequel to Alex Aja's hit from 2005 that grossed nearly $70 million worldwide at the box office. No other casting was confirmed, but as we wait for an official announcement the reliable (sarcasm) IMDB has revealed another dozen cast members- read on to see who they are and make sure to take this all as rumor until confirmed.
Michael McMillian, Jessica Stroup, Daniella Alonso, Lee Thompson Young, Ben Crowley, Eric Edelstein, Reshad Strik, David Reynolds, Tyrell Kemlo, Javier Nieto, Gáspár Szabó, Jeff Kober and Jay Acovone will all join Michael Bailey Smith and Derek Mears in Fox Atomic's The Hills Have Eyes II, according to the ever reliable IMDB. Written by Wes Craven and his son Jonathan, the sequel will be directed by Marton Weisz and will hit rhaters March 2, 2007.
In the film a team of National Guard cadets stops over at a desert outpost to deliver equipment to some military scientists. They arrive at the research camp to find it mysteriously deserted. Hearing a distress call on their walkies, they set off on what they think is a simple rescue mission into the hills - only to find a tribe of mutants, damaged by nuclear testing, who lie in wait for them...
