At this weekend's Monsters Among Robots convention in Van Nuys, CA, Bloody-Disgusting.com hosted a panel for Adam Green's hotly anticipated Hatchet (review), which will be playing this October at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival in Hollywood. During the panel discussion Green confirmed his plans for a Hatchet 2 and said that star Tony Todd will have a "bigger role" in the sequel and that we will learn more about what exactly Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder) is. Anchor Bay is currently negotiating a theatrical release for the film sometime in 2007. Click the title above for pics, posters, trailers and more.
i for one hope so ive not even seen the first one yet but hope hatchet turns into a series kane hodder is my favorite horror icon and i wise him well i just hope that if their is a part 2 that anchor bay lets adam green continue with this series and plus have kane play the killer and don't pull a newline and get some suck ass like ken kirzinger i hate newlines fucking guts
