Kyle Gallner is the first to join the cast of Lucky McKee's Red, which was adapted by Stephen Susco (The Grudge) from a novel by Jack Ketchum (The Lost, The Girl Next Door), according to Variety. Lucky McKee's The Woods is finally hitting DVD October 3rd. The film is about a man who sets out on a murderous revenge spree against the thugs who killed his pet dog. Kyle Gallner is best known for his roles in Wes Craven's Red Eye and the popular TV show Veronica Mars.
