We haven't been able to confirm this scoop just yet, so please take this as rumor. We were informed by two sources that Universal has finally begun shooting Alice, the long-delayed adaptation to the popular video game. If this proves true we could be seeing the film as early as late '07 or early 2008... fingers crossed. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Shaun Landers star. The fractured fairytale, which will be directed by Marcus Nispel (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), picks up Alice after her home has been destroyed and family killed. The sole survivor of the disaster, she returns to a dark and threatening Wonderland where she must confront her fears before returning to her normal life.
