About a week ago news was broke (here) that Tim Sullivan was prepping 2002 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillies, his sequel to Lionsgate's direct-to-video gorefest 2001 Maniacs, which is now on a major midnight road show across the country. Last night we attended the first road show (which saw a packed house) where writer/director Tim Sullivan officially announced the entire cast for 2002. Read on for the skinny...
The new leads will be Ashley and Courtney (Mortuary) Peldon (below), while a new maniac, Scarlett Red, will be played by Amy Baniecki.
Rounding out the cast are returning stars Adam Robitel, Christa Campbell, Ryan Fleming, Jay Gillespie, Dylan Edrington, Christa Campbell
In the sequel, the maniacs from the first film take Pleasant Valley on the road to Beverly Hills in search of gold and gore. They plan a Civil War show, which ends up deadly...
