Uwe Boll - gotta' love the guy, he's got heart, money, power and is one of the best producers I've ever seen. I admire his efforts and how much he cares about his films, even though I personally think they're garbage. Sure they suck, but man are they fun to watch... in fact, I hope he never stops making movies. A few months back we chuckled at Uwe's latest publicity stunt where he challenged us critics to a boxing match during the shoot of his next film Postal. The response? Read on and find out, and see if Mr. Disgusting will take the challenge...
The response to Boll's challenge left people laughing and thus ignoring him. His response to this? "Where are all the other outspoken critics. Critics who claim that they have registered for the boxing match, but in fact have not. Where is Headhunter004? Where are the rest of you?" Only a 16-year-old has entered thus far, says Boll.
I know Boll is a tough SOB (and is also an ex-boxing champ), but maybe one little punch from a Jewish boy from the Midwest will knock some sense into him... at least before he knocks my head inside out.
So yeah, maybe I will accept the challenge, just so he can pound his chest, grab his nuts and scream "I'm still a man damnit!" My personal recommendation would be to grab a beer and some pizza and watch some sports, but if punching critics for hating the sh-t you spew out all over the big screen is your thing, go for it I guess?
Maybe if Boll took the time to actually make his movies instead of responding to hate mail while on set they'd be better.
I'll take your challenge Dr. Boll, as long as you can take my challenge - I challenge you to make a good f-cking movie already.
