One indie horror pic I'm really looking forward to seeing is Robert Krause's Blood Trails, which has been getting a lot of positive buzz across the net from various screenings. It was scooped to Bloody-Disgusting today that Lionsgate now owns the rights to the film and will release it in 2007. In the meantime, 'Trails' continues its deadly trek at Horror festivals around the world, recently playing to excited crowds at the Dead By Dawn Film Festival in Scotland (where it won the Audience Award) and the Madrid Fantasy Film Festival 2006 in Spain. Next week it begins an 8 city ride through Germany as part of the Fantasy Filmfest 2006 (July 26 - Aug. 23) before making its U.S. Premiere at Fantastic Fest 2006 in Austin (Sept 21 – 28).
