We've just been informed by a scooper who wishes to remain anonymous that Ben Ripley has been hired to write Species 4, the latest installment of the popular Sci-Fi franchise. Ripley also wrote the third film, which hit DVD in December of '04. In MGM's first film a group of four specialists are given the task of tracking down Sil. "She"'s part human, part alien, beautiful, strong, very dangerous and desperate to mate with a human.
