Matt Venne (White Noise 2) is set to pen the screenplay for Warner Bros. Pictures and Dark Castle's remake of William Castle's I Saw What You Did,according to Fangoria. In the original film from 1965, teenagers, Libby and Kit, innocently spend an evening doing random prank calls. These calls lead to murderous consequences. Venne tells Fango, "Castle, I think, was trying to do a Hitchcockian film à la REAR WINDOW, PSYCHO, STRANGERS ON A TRAIN and SHADOW OF A DOUBT—to me, those are the four big films hovering over I SAW WHAT YOU DID. I want to make a turbo-charged Hitchockian horror thriller with suspense, twists and turns, and an incredibly cool killer." Click the link below for more.
