Last night it was reported that Patricia Clarkson (The Woods) was in talks with New Line Cinema to take on the role of Pamela Voorhees in the re-invisionment of Friday The 13th -- we've got word that this is completely not true. We checked in with Platinum Dunes about the rumor and got this response, "If that were the case I would consider myself a very lucky producer. Nonetheless, there is NO truth to that rumor at all. In fact we haven't even starting speaking about casting yet." The remake, which is written by Mark Wheaton and will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman, will incorporate components of the films, though it is known that Jason will wear the mask and will kill. The setting will be that of the first movie, Crystal Lake...
