Hot off of directing the horror remake The Hills Have Eyes, Alexandre Aja (High Tension) is going Into the Mirror for Regency Enterprises, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The director has signed on to direct the horror movie after a deal with Sanji Senaka fell through. The story follows a security guard at a high-end department store who begins to investigate mysterious deaths occurring in front of the stores' mirrors. He soon discovers that there are murderous reflections out for revenge. The script was written by Jim Uhls and Joe Gangemi, with a polish by Kieran and Michelle Mulroney. The script "had a completely new concept with terror elements that anyone can relate to," Aja said. *The article forgets to mention one major thing... this is a remake of a Korean film of the same name from 2003, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Click here for more info or here for pics from Seong-ho Kim's 'Geoul sokeuro'... nice to know they got credit.
