SpookyDan writes in "Last night was the party for Showtime's upcoming Masters of Horror Season 2 and just about everyone horror related that resides on the west coast was there- and then some! The night was full of celebs, dancing girls, free DVDs and endless amounts of booze. Most importantly many of the people involved with Mick Garris' Showtime series were there to say hi and pose for some pictures. Aside from the expected Masters, some of the spotted people were: Adam Green (Hatchet), Anthony Ferrante (Boo!), Tim Sullivan and the 2001 Maniacs crew, including the always beautiful Christa Campbell and Wendy Kremer, Tiffany Shepis (Abominable) was in full force looking as foxy as ever. Also, Ryan Schifrin (Abominable director and his hot wife), Eli Roth (of course), Mike Mendez (The Gravedancers), Oakley Stevenson (The Convent), James Wan (Saw, Silence), Jeff Rector (Pray Another Day), Mercedes McNab (Hatchet, and Buffy), Dave Parker (Dead Hate The Living), Jeremy Kasten (Wizard of Gore, All Souls Day) Jay Woelfel (Ghost Lake), Writer Jeffrey Red**** (Tamara), Rolfe Kanefsky (Nightmare Man), Evan Katz (Mortuary, Head Sick), Ti West (The Roost)… And, of course, I can't forget my press buddies: from Fango, Ryan Rotten, Staci Layne and Enzo of Horror.com, Sean and Andrew of The Horror Channel, Robert and crew from IGN. There were so many people, I know I haven’t mentioned them all but you get the gist of what was going on (my sincere apologies for not mentioning everyone!)
I will just show you a few pictures and say that it was a HELL of an event at the Ivar bar in Hollywood. Mick Garris and his crew really know how to throw a party. As for as insider scoops, there were some juicy ones, but none fit for print quite yet… we will keep you posted.
