Over the past year we've posted a few reader reviews for the French horror pic Calvaire (new review)- and they've all been beyond positive. It was announced a few months back that Palm Pictures, whom was responsible for 'The Eye's' release a few years back, would release the film as The Ordeal here in the States and that the film would open theatrically. We got word today that Fabrice Du Welz's pic, which is about a singer's car that breaks down deep in the woods, will hit theaters in August of 2006! Click the title above for pics and a trailer.
