Though they showed some flashes of brilliance early in their career, I can't say I'm not concerned about their first US film, especially after Hideo Nakata destroyed The Ring franchise, and after watching a few terrible films by the brothers from Thailand ('Bangkok Haunted' and 'Ab-Normal Beauty' to name a few). Either way, I'm still pretty excited for their US debut film The Messengers, which will be released by Sony August 18th, 2006. Inside you'll find the first two official pics from the film. Written by Stuart Beattie ("Collateral") from an original script by Todd Farmer ("Jason X"), "Scarecrow" is a horror tale that follows the lives of a family moving into a run-down sunflower farm.
