Today a new cast member was revealed for 20th Century Fox's The Omen 666, which is set to roll this month in Prague. This actress, who joins Liev Schreiber, Julia Stiles and Josh Hutcherson, has much experience in the industry and with the devil himself- a devil child to be exact! Can you guess who it is? Fangoria discovered that Michael Musto of New York’s Village Voice reported in his column this week that Playbill’s Harry Haun spoke recently to veteran actress Mia Farrow, who revealed that she’ll be appearing in The Omen 666, which rolls this month in Prague. Farrow joins Julia Styles and Liev Schreiber in the update, which John Moore directs from a script by Dan McDermott. Farrow, of course, has experience playing opposite the spawn of Satan, having starred in Rosemary's Baby nearly 30 years ago.
A remake of the 1976 horror classic about the arrival of the Antichrist in the home of an unsuspecting family. Richard Donner directed the original, which starred Gregory Peck as an ambassador whose dark secret --allowing a baby to be substituted for the one his wife (Lee Remick) lost in childbirth -- comes back to haunt him when the hellish prodigal son begins to hit his evil stride.
The Omen remake is on it's way to theaters June 6, 2006.
