The box office got possessed this weekend as the demons beat out that bad ass transporter. Sony Screen Gems' Exorcism of Emily Rose (review #1, #2) tore up the box office with a whopping $30,200,000 in its opening weekend for the #1 spot. 20th Century Fox's Transporter 2 dropped from the #1 spot to #3 with $7,200,000. New Line Cinema's action/comedy The Man, opened at #6 with $4,025,000. Universal's The 40 Year-Old Virgin (review) held strong and bumped back up to the #2 spot once again.
