The box office gets possessed, but can the demons beat out that bad ass transporter? Today Sony Screen Gems' Exorcism of Emily Rose (review #1, #2) hits 2,981 theaters in an attempt to knock out 20th Century Fox's Transporter 2 from the #1 spot. Also hitting theaters is New Line Cinema's action/comedy The Man, which opens in 2,040. The Samuel Jackson, Eugene Levy pic hopes to at least take a nice share of the box office profits. Our prediction is that Emily Rose will scare audiences into giving her their money.
