Reiterating what was explained awhile back, The Island producers Laurie MacDonald and Walter Parkes report that there is still a plan in the books for The Ring Three. MacDonald tells CineCon, "We're doing a lower budget, almost going back to a original in a way. Not in story, but in scale."
