If you head on over to IGN you can check out the first teaser trailer for Universal Pictures' Doom, which hits theaters October 21st. At first things looked really bad for the film, but after viewing the trailer and hearing the panels at the Comic Con I've got some hope for the film. Set countless years in the future and told in the hyper- kinetic, kamikaze style that made its gaming predecessor a global phenomenon, the science fiction action adventure Doom takes the viewer to the far corners of the galaxy with a fully-realized vision of a dark and disturbing future. The film stars Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, Karl Urban and Rosamund Pike.
