Received the following scoop from Dax who attended the Devil's Rejects (review) premiere in Las Vegas, "I just wanted to say, I just got back from the unofficial world premiere of The Devil's Rejects at the CineVegas film festival it was excellent. The story, the character insight the out and out violence made this one to mark your calendars for. I think whether you loved or hated Ho1KC, all will be very pleased with The Devil's Rejects. If there was a more satisfying movie this summer I'm still waiting for it, simply put they do not make movies like this anymore and this is a crime. On a side note Mr Zombie and his lovely wife Sherrie were on hand for a Q & A after the film and they were fantastic. My g-friend was the one to ask the inevitable question of what's next for Rob Zombie, to which he stated that it'll be an animated film titled El Superbeasto, being directed by the guy who does Spongebob [Stephen Hillenburg- or Mr. Doug Lawrence?] (bleh...) that he created. It'll basically be based on the comics he put out about a year ago. Well hope this helps ya'll out, stay bloody!!" The Devil's Rejects hits theaters July 22nd from Lions Gate Films.
