After kicking major butt at the box office, it was only a matter of time before a sequel to the incredible Sin City (review #1, #2) was announced. Today Variety reports from Cannes where the Weinstein Bros. announced at a luncheon for international distribs yesterday that it will put into development a sequel to its current release "Sin City." That pic, by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, is playing in Cannes as Dimension Films' first ever competish entry here. No word on who will return to work on the film yet- expect more very soon.
