We received word last week from a very reliable source that Eli Roth had been booted from Raw Nerve because of a conflict with his new movie Hostel, which is being picked up over at Sony Screen Gems (more inside)- Eli Roth says different. According to Eli, "Sony Screen Gems acquired Hostel as a negative pickup. It's still a Raw Nerve film. Boaz and Scotty are the exec producers." I hope this is the end of the rumor, but we'll keep you posted if anything changes...

Here's an interesting scoop for you Eli Roth fanatics out there. Raw Nerve, which produced Tim Sullivan's 2001 Maniacs, apparently has booted out Cabin Fever director Eli Roth from the group. The reason why? Although I can't disclose full details, it does have something to do with Eli going off and doing his second feature film Hostel with Sony Screen Gems. Hopefully we'll get an official press release on this soon, this could be the end of Raw Nerve before they even got rolling.
