We've received word today that Revolution Studios' remake of the classic 1980 John Carpenter flick The Fog has been cast. Although names could not be revealed to us, I can tell you that we will be hearing an official announcement in the coming weeks. The original was set in Northern California, where a thick fog enshrouds the coastline. The fog is reminiscent of one 100 years before that wrecked a ship and drowned the seamen aboard. Sure enough, those salty dogs are back, mighty angry and out to kill whomever they find. 'The Fog' hits theaters October 14th, 2005.
