A scooper emailed AICN about a possible cast addition to The Fog, a remake of the classic Carpenter flick from 1980. Revolution Studio's film, which will be directed by Rupert Wainwright, hits theaters October 14th, 2005. Read on for the scoop...
The scooper writes in that he met Chris Isaak and, "I asked about his movies. He said the John Waters film he did will be out on DVD soon (did it even get a cinema release?) and then he said he might have a small role in a new version of an old horror movie called 'Fog.' Then he made a comment like, "other than that I'm as free as drinking water."
The original was set in Northern California, where a thick fog enshrouds the coastline. The fog is reminiscent of one 100 years before that wrecked a ship and drowned the seamen aboard. Sure enough, those salty dogs are back, mighty angry and out to kill whomever they find.
