George Romoro's fourth zombie flick entitled Land of the Dead is forcing Columbia's John Carpenter remake The Fog to lift its feet by opening a week earlier than originally planned. The film will be moving from its originally slated October 21st date to an October 14th date, according to Variety. A remake of the 1980 John Carpenter horror film. The original was set in Northern California, where a thick fog enshrouds the coastline. The fog is reminiscent of one 100 years before that wrecked a ship and drowned the seamen aboard. Sure enough, those salty dogs are back, mighty angry and out to kill whomever they find.
